Many thanks - is there a doc regarding directions and location pin issues as well?

I haven't written one yet! What specific issues are you having? There have been some forum entries regarding doing driving directions with Android. If you check out @Fred's blog, he has steps for that. http://myskylla.wordpress.com/ Mark

When the screen first loads the location pin isn't 'pinned to the map' as such, it's just central in the screen so as you zoom in or out the location changes the other issue is the directions isn't working. I've changed the URI uri = command but onfused by the finding location bit below. //add device location if we have it and showUserLocation != “0″ if(tmpLatitude.length() > 4 && !showUserLocation.equalsIgnoreCase(“0″)){ me=new MyLocationOverlay(this, mapView); mapView.getOverlays().add(me); me.enableMyLocation(); this brings up errors when I add it (me cannot be resolved to a variable)
