Can i add a audio player to my app??

Hi. I've tried to search the net for tutorials on how to implement a audioplayer in an iphone app, but without any luck... I've found something about adding a JQuery.JPlayer to my app, but no instructions in how to do it. Do i need a self-hosted server to do this or? Any help would be great, thanks! /Peter Denmark

Add audio using a HTML screen. Go to Buzztouch Screen in my guide: www.MySkylla.com You’ll find HTML audio player. Fred

try the packaged jplayer Laurand made in this thread. http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=04BB6256E3F4E3A4F34797E&fid=1A0BC2DCA1F04DB67238B9A&sortColumn=FT.id&sortUpDown=DESC&currentPage=2 i downloaded his and modified it a bit and am using it in one of my apps now. i love the flexibility of it. loos great and works well. i'm hosting the files/media on my server and pointing to the files/jplayer via Custom URL. someone else here posted some tips on sucessfully packaging .js files in your BT project. i plan to test that out later this week and try to package the jplayer and media right in the app so it works faster and offline. I'm looking for a solid AUDIO player for my apps as well. I'm just starting to grasp the AVFoundation framework a little, would like to make a simple player plug-in. Unfortunately every tutorial/sample i see uses .xib files to make the player screen. still struggling to make .xib files work in my BT app!

@Fred: I've now search your entire blog for HTML audio player, and without any luck :-/ Could you maybe throw in the link to the exact instruction in myskylla.com? Thanks! @ATRAIN53: Thanks man! But do I need my own server to do this? I'm very green at all this, thats why all the questions. About the package that you're about to test, please let me know if it was a success - I'm in lack of positive achievements in here:-) Thanks!

@ATRAIN53 Hi again. I followed the instructions on the link you posted, and i did this: 1. I created a FTP server linked it to my domain (I used cyberduck) 2. Copied the BT player folder into the public_html folder 3. I Copied the url for index.html that looks like this: ftp://[email protected]/BT%20Player/index.html I created custom url tap in BT and got this error? IOS Error Code: - 1102 IOSError Message: You do not have permission to access the requested resource. Please please help me!!!

nice work! jplayer is pretty neat isn't it? try the video, you'll love that. i think you are right there - i think your URL link is just bunk. besides the fact i don't think iOS can interpet ftp:// you should be using a http:// link but is that your domain? mywebsite.com? can you see that URL from your web browser? i can't see it. here's a test/sample jplayer url on my server: http://www.skomp.net/APPlayer/jrodtrotter1.html that should open in your browser. if your browser isn't opening it iOS won't open it either. put my URL in your APP to test if you need.
