Buzztouch Essentials - is the iOS training required before generating source code?

Hi, I love the product here, look forward to learning a lot from the community. Having just started, I completed the BuzzTouch Essentials, but do I need to complete iOS essentials before generating valid Xcode? The errors I'm having are too broad so I'm wondering if completing the nine iOS quizzes are a "prerequisite". Sorry if this was answered in a FAQ, but I couldn't find it! Thank you. -Tim

The IOS training would help you understand the Errors a little better but shouldn't really keep you from compiling your project....what version Xcode? Did you add any files to the buzztouch project or is it a fresh download? We'll figure it out :)

The iOS training is great. I would recommend it even if you already know quite a bit about it. They are not a prerequisite to compile though.

Yes, it is not prerequisite. My experience is that first becoming a member, immediately, I tried and compiled three projects and were working fine on the tested iPhone 3GS, after iPhone 4S (the training sessions were not available yet), only got the chance to finish the training session recently.

Thanks gang. Not what I wanted to hear... I had difficulty displaying merely a splash screen... an app that did nothing else. I'll not waste your valuable time with my vagueness and am grateful for the responses. The hard part is that I'm learning this at night only, I have no Mac at my day job - for which this knowledge will be applied in a few weeks. Regards,
