remove data url form apps control panel by going to manage core properties.then click to Report to cloud url and Configure data url and clear the url in both of those fields. It should work fine. If you are using either custom text/ html or using heml docs hosted on servers your app still need internet connection inorder to assess those files. so trick is to include html docs in the app itself.

Open up the config file in eclipse and see if the Config data URL and Report to cloud URL are there. Fred

By "download" menu and rows do you mean the screen data URL? If so that's a good question? As I understand it you would delete the URL. Fred

Does the BT_config.txt file contain the menu data? Fred Edit: The screen data is in the BT_Config.txt file. So, the question is, "What does the data URL do in the Menu(list or Simple) screen?"

"dataURL":"http://www.mysite.com/listItems.php" A URL pointing to a file containing an array of Child Item JSON objects representing each item in the list. Do not use a dataURL if the screen uses a childItems array. In particular: Do not use a dataURL if the screen uses a childItems array. List Items List items are used in List Menus. Every row in the menu is an individual list item. When an item in the list is selected, a new screen or menu loads. List item styles and sizes are adjusted in the Global Theme or in the parent List Menu. Sample JSON {"itemId":"99999", "itemType":"BT_menuItem", "loadScreenWithItemId":"unique id of screen to load", "titleText":"Tap here for more"}

I think that messing with the screen URL is unnecessary to take an app offline. But that returns us to the original question. Fred

For some reason his app is not. Note: in buzztouch a offline app means an app that doesn't use an online Config file. It may or may not use screen data URL's which may require a data connection to work. By caching a file such as a map the app can continue to work without a data connection. And yes an app can be an offline app that doesn't need a data connection if all it's resources are embedded in the app. Fred
