The Tab menu is offering a selection of home screens to use. Once you leave the home screens the Tab menu is no longer seen because you're in a screen. What you're asking for us a multi-Tab bottom tool bar. Fred

Okay.... No Problem.... In the Controlpanel from BT 2.0 can you Switch the "Layout / Tabs" to "Non-Tabbed Layout" or "Tabbed Layout". In my Projekt i Use "Tabbed Layout". Then you can make up to 5 Buttons on the Bottom of the Screen with are connected to Screens. One of them is Connected to an "Menu Simple - Screen"... And when i make a Selection in this Menue to Load an "Custom Url" Screen, the "Bottom Menue" disapears..... My Question is, is there a Solution to prevent the "Bottom Menue Bar" (Tabbed Menue) to disapear when i load another Screen via "Custom Url". By The Way... Same with all other Screens, not only with the "Custom Url" Screen.

"Bottom Menu Bar" (Tabbed Menu) That's precisely the problem. You're mixing up the concepts and the language. The Tabbed layout is not a bottom menu bar. The Tabbed layout is merely adding a Tab to the home screens. It is not available for other screens, and it only is added to the home screens when you open the app. Create a tabbed layout with two tabs. Tab one: menu (simple) Nickname: MyHomeScreen#1 Tab two: use any screen Nickname: MyHomeScreen#2 Open app and you'll see the tabs. Opens showing the menu screen. Correct? OK, so far, so good. OK, now add a menu item (item#1) to the Menu (Simple), doesn't matter which screen you use, but let's use a Custom URL Screen, Nickname: Screen#3 Close app, reopen, refresh app's data. Now when you select item#1 from the menu, it opens Screen#3, no tabs correct? OK, now add a right Nav Bar to the screen#3 and select MyHomeScreen#1 to load. Close app, reopen, refresh app's data. Select item#1, Screen#3 loads, select the Right Nav Bar button, MyHomeScreen#1 loads Now, do you see tabs? No you don't. Why, because the Tab is not part of the screen. Hit the back button and you'll cycle back till you get to the original activity (opening of app showing the home screen) and now the Tab is showing. Fred

Whuhuuu!! I have found an Solution... So Simple ;-) On the "Custom Screen" what is Loading from the "Menu Simple" i activated in the "Top Navigation Bar" the "Right Button Type" with the Name "Home" and linked it to my App-Loading-Splashschreen..... When the Appuser taps on the "Homeicon" in the Right Up Corner the Apps Loads the Startupsplashscreen with the First Site of the App AND the Bottom Menue... Now it Works! Maybe it helps someone with the same Problem!

I have an ios app that uses tabbed navigation and does not show this problem. I never lose the tab buttons. I just tried the exact same app, re-built for Android and it loses the tab navigation. I will try your tip - thanks @Worker73

I know this is really old, but I wanted to say thank you! I needed to create a way to programatically change a tab in an old Android project to make it more consistent with the new Android project and was having a heck of a time. This post gave me the inspiration for how to do it. Here's my button code in case it helps anyone else. (Note: this is obsolete in Android 3.0+ projects thanks to the Fragment approach) //load BT_activity_root_tabs... BT_item tmpLoadScreenObject = new BT_item(); tmpLoadScreenObject.setItemId("tmpRootTabs"); tmpLoadScreenObject.setItemNickname("tmpRootTabs"); try{ tmpLoadScreenObject.setItemType("BT_activity_root_tabs"); tmpLoadScreenObject.setJsonObject(new JSONObject("{}")); }catch(Exception e){ } BT_act_controller.loadScreenObject(thisActivity, screenData, null, tmpLoadScreenObject);
