Same Issue Build Fails every time

Using BT 2.0.; Xcode 3.2.3; Mac OS X 10.7.3 As a test, built the simplest Ap I could. Just basically had an email function and that is it. I'm getting eight errors. Basically two errors that are repeated in three "Compiles." The errors are: error: 'ADBannerContentSizeIdentifierLandscape' undeclared (first use in this function) error: 'ADBannerContentSizeIdentifierPortrait' undeclared (first use in this function) They occur in: Compile BT_rotatingNavController (1 of each) Compile BT_rotatingTabBarController (1 of each) Compile BT_viewController (2 of each) Here is the code snippet from the Compile BT_rotatingTabBarController //If we have an ad view we may need to modify it's layout... for(UIView* subView in [theViewController.view subviews]){ if(subView.tag == 94){ for(UIView* subView_2 in [subView subviews]){ if(subView_2.tag == 955){ ADBannerView *theAdView = (ADBannerView *)subView_2; if([subView_2 respondsToSelector:@selector(setCurrentContentSizeIdentifier:)]){ if(UIInterfaceOrientationIsLandscape(toInterfaceOrientation)) { [theAdView setCurrentContentSizeIdentifier:ADBannerContentSizeIdentifierLandscape]; }else{ [theAdView setCurrentContentSizeIdentifier:ADBannerContentSizeIdentifierPortrait]; } } } } break; I have no ads set. I've tried to find any global ad setting that might be set to "on" or whatever. This is extremely frustrating as I would really like to get up to speed with Buzztouch but can't do a thing if I can't even compile the simplest App. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Serge

Core properties does not appear to have any advertising option in it, or I may be going blind. Under "Screens/Actions" on the "Home Screen Menu" at the bottom there is an "Advertising Options" listing. That was set to: "No, do not include advertisements on this screen." The only other screen I have is "email" which does not have an advertising option. Thanks, Serge

OK, the advertising in core properties is a BTv1.5 thing.

A long shot, but did you copy in the additional folders into your project as per the instructions.pdf file in the downlaoded zip file?

Yep. I ended up just clearing away the ad code snippets from the individual files. The build succeeded. Now however, Xcode is putting up an error message saying "No provisioned iPhone OS device is connected." Any thoughts? Thanks, Serge

If it works in the simulator but won't install to your iPhone, then this sounds like an Apple/xcode thing, not a buzztouch thing. It would mean that the code signing in xcode needs to be changed from "don't code sign" to your developer profile. Does that make sense?

No. I'm not at the stage for developer. Just want to run it on the simulator... I believe I have all the settings correct and the "don't code sign" is up.

You should have the option to change the device type to run your app on from ios device to an iphone or ipad simulator simulator. If not, try running 'clean' on your project, shutting down xcode then trying again - it has been known to do the trick.
