Hello everyone, I am really new to app programming and would like to build an app to listen to a radio station. Therefore I tried buzztouch and really like the way it works. At the moment I can not find a plugin to play streaming media from radio stations through shout/icecast. The native launcher starts a media player, which is fine though, but I'd like to use an embedded player. Is there already a nice player that can be bought and embedded into the app? I am using a webplayer at the moment which is written in JAVA. Will it work on most devices, too? I know that flash does not, therefore I found the JAVA one. The bigger problem seems to be, that I want to embed an AACplusV2 stream, too, because mobile users need low-bandwith streams with good sound quality. Is there a way to play AACplusV2 streams on the devices? Every player in CCKs I have tested so far only work with MP3. Hopefully buzztouch will be able support it somewhen. Last question: I can see that BT 1.5 had more plugins that 2.0. Is this because 1.5 was not fully Android compatible?

Yes I tried version 1.5 with HTML streaming, but the screen was not showing up. Also the creation page showed that HTML streaming is not for Shoutcast or any other streaming services. Most other CCKs use the HTML5 audio tag, which seem to work, too, but looks ugly. I'll give it a try.

The plugin I refer to us in BTv 2.0.
