Why you may not want your Config file to be up to date. Cool Trick You Can Do by playing with the Cached, Online and Project Config files. Project Config file is the BT_config.txt file that's packaged when you create the binary (.apk, .ipa, .bar) Online Config file is the file found on the Control Panel (unless you move it elsewhere, say DropBox). Cached Config file is the Config data that's downloaded and stored in your app'a local storage when the users updates the app. In the Project Config file the Home Screen is a HTML doc with instructions. Or perhaps a Word doc, Image Gallery, Menu (button or not but with a transparant button and a full screen background image). When the user updates the App the Online Config would download and cache. So Second time user would see the results of the cached Config file. Result: The home screen would be different for first time users.
