put an icon into bottom tab menu

hi, sorry for my bad english i've made an apps that put two tabbed layout on home screen, on tabbed layout setting, i have uploaded the .png images as a tab icon images but when the apps running on xcode ios simulator, the tab's icons doesnt appear, only title below..so anyone glad to give me an answer for this ? thanks before

hi you need to put it on your bt_image folder after downloading the source code just drag them to your bt_image folder on your xcode Moh

hi leon thanks for your reply, so it will be automatically fitted on the bottom tab's sized or there is more specified sized to create an icon for two or four tabs below?

Tab button icons are tricky. My own experience is if you make you own, they need to be around 31 pixels width and height and they have to have transparency. For me there was a bit of trial and error involved but it is rewarding when you get a result.

as @AlanMac said, you need to size it to about 31px square. Make sure you drag the image as a PNG into the BT_Images folder in Xcode, not the actual downloaded folder as Xcode will not recognize the file otherwise. Make sure you do resize, the first time I did not resize and it came up with a massive square for the icon, which was about 1/50 of the actual image.
