HTML Doc in iOS with link to external webpage

I'm having a little trouble figuring out how to launch (in Safari) an external webpage from an HTML Doc in my iOS app rather than having the page appear inside the app. Very simply I have an anchor tag inside of an .html page inside my app that looks like the following: <a href="http://www.mywebsite.com" target="_blank">My Web Site</a> When the user taps the link I would like the page to open in Safari rather than inside the app. I'm sure the solution is very simple, but for some reason this one is escaping me. I am hosting my own buzztouch server, so I am using v2.0 Thanks.

Fred, I guess I'm too stupid to use your blog. I've been on your site before and while I find a great amount of the information useful, I usually I stumble upon a number of useful articles when I'm not looking for anything in particular. However, attempting to find something specific by either through the search function or the index is extremely frustrating. If you understand the question I'm asking, would it be too much trouble for you to point me to a specific article on your site that may contain the answer by posting a URL to that article? If so, thank you. If not, I'm still looking for someone who may have the answer I require.

OK. I know how to create a Launch Native App screen. I actually have one in another section of my app. What I'm talking about is an .html file in my BT_Docs folder which has an anchor tag for a hyperlink to a webpage outside of my app, such as Google or Yahoo! or Facebook. As of now, when you tap the link, the page attempts to load inside of the app. I want the linked page to load in Safari (or other browser) instead of the app itself.

Then I would suggest searching "iOS URL schema Safari" on Google. I have a HTML link that will open various native apps but not for the browser. I'm sure there'a one. Fred
