account upgrade question

One of my apps looks like it might be breaking the 500,000 view limit for this month, and possibly future months. I notice the next level upgrade is "self-hosted" for $29.99 a month. The thing is I don't know anything about servers, self-hosting, starting websites, etc. Is this the only way to use the upgrade, or would I be able to continue using the buzztouch server with unlimited views, apps, and screens?

to not go over the limit you can update your app to take the config data from buzztouch to dropbox for example and create json's of your pages etc, html documents embedded into the app and also the quiz check out Stobs.. That would help most of your views and limits. Dropbox is excellent for hosting these if you don't have your own hosting..

i would do what @mysps says, and that's great that your app has that much success, if you don't mind me asking which app might that be?

Wow...500,000 views...that's pretty awesome! I'd send an email to [email protected] and explain the situation. I know they are pretty lenient with it all, especially with those that they have grandfathered in. Mark

@ mysps - Gotta be honest, that post made very little sense to me :P I can't stress how little I know about any of that stuff - dropbox, html, json - it's all pretty foreign to me. This is the main reason I use buzztouch - I can create apps easily without having to bother with more technical aspects. I suppose it was probably unavoidable that I would have to dig in a little deeper eventually. @ App Master - The app is "One Direction Fan Club". I wouldn't exactly call it success yet since it's a free app, but I'm working on getting ads in there this week. @GoNorthWest - thanks I'll give that a shot. I'm gonna start researching self hosting in the meantime.
