I want to keep my App simple, so I am using a lot of the Menu Simple Screens. But I would like to class it up a bit, and make it more professional in design... Can I put a background image behind a list item in menu simple? Like a leather texture, wood grain, or fabric? Thanks,

Hello. Yes you can put an image in the background of simple menu screens. Just scroll down to the background image tab within the menu screen setup page. In order to see the image though, you have to set your menu tabs as clear. Good luck

Remember to either set the image at some URL and reference it...like: http://www.digitalDevelopments.org/images/image.jpg or add it to the BT_Images folder when you compile in eclipse or xcode. Also, I have found that smaller sized images result in less crashes, but (at least in android) images can be a bit "ticky".

Just to be clear - I don't want a big image in the background of all of the menu rows, I want each menu row to have an image - classy texture instead of just text on white.

a background image on each row? or an icon IN the row? The icon is relatively easy, the image might be a different story...

I need my rows to look like buttons... text on color looks too simple. After all, Apple wants us to make these look and operate better than text on color, and I kind of like the green backgrounds on the rows in my ForEx Currency Rate App. One of my banks has black text on white, but a round-corner box around the whole list - and a HR in between... Another has solid blue rows, on a white background. I wish there was a page here where we could see examples of what their terminology describes. in practice.
