hi. complete newbie to buzztouch and have created some 2.0 apps and wanted to try out what i had "made" so far. i have installed eclipse and android sdk etc.i compile app and launch in emulator or phone but it boots to a screen within app (normally map screen) instead of the home screen menu. once there i cant do anything it just sits stuck at that screen or gives a message advising something is wrong and its not sure what to display. sorry if this is already answered but i cant find it anywhere and after 2 days i ran out of patience so thought i would ask.

Hi. very simple really. The homescreen in the layout section was not set to the homescreen menu. I never changed anything in that screen hence i never thought of looking there. I thought it would be set to homescreen menu by default. I guess it was so obvious i did not think of looking in there as it was my first attempt at compiling an app and i did not know if my eclipse was set up right so i assumed it was the eclipse setup as every question i read always had the same answer and that answer is something like "scource code is fine from buzztouch so it must be eclipse set up" bit of a newbie mistake i suppose.

im running into a similar issue. i cant see any content for my home screen when simulating. i've tried to use the non tabbed layout to set the home screen with no luck, i've refreshed and i've pasted config data to the .txt file, no luck
