Current Location on My Map App Map

I got my Map App working on IOS 5.1 Simulator for iPhone and iPad. Got the App running on my iPhone - tethered, and untethered! My first disappointment - I cannot see the little blue pulsating dot, representing my current location. Of course, when I tap on a red pin, and it asks if I want to see the location on the native GPS APP, the pulsating blue ball does show fine. From your experience, what am I missing here? My App does ask to allow Current Location. At least, the pop up window pops up and I always click "OK"! Am I missing a setting in JSOn to turn on the pulsating blue dot, or is the pulsating blue dot not capable of existing on an App other than the native GPS App? Woe is me! Thanks,

Hey @nickbaer, Is your zoom set to a level where your current location is off screen? Also, in Advanced Properties for the Location Map screen, under Map Behaviour, there is setting called "Show User Location." That should be set to Yes. Mark

YES! The setting is under "Map Behavior", and NOW my App's Map is behaving exactly as I envisioned 2 weeks ago... One night I was thinking I'd go out and see what my German kin were like here in Berlin, and not being a bar person, I do not have a nose for finding such places. I went on some tourist websites, and found some places, but the GPS interaction is key in a big city. So, I made a list, and checked it twice, and put it in a SQL table and wrote some PHP script to intertwine it with the BT JSON. Now, if I could add a "cigarette smoke detector" to the phone, so I don't go anywhere that makes my sinuses run, and my clothes stink, we'd be whole! What a great way to end what had been a frustrating evening.

The next thing I need to work through: How come I need to click the "Back" button to go back to previous menu screen, and not swipe backwards? Odd?
