After finally getting there and ready to 'run my project'....Eclipse saysYour project contains errors, fix them!

Is there any way to find out 'what' the errors are and how to 'work' them using Eclipse? Was so happy to finally get over the install process and now this! Anybody?

hi steve along the bottom window in eclipse you should have a few tabs, one of them called problems, that should give you a lsit of errors. I am brand spanking new to Buzztouch and eclipse as well and found if you copy/paste those error messages into google one by one then someone out there had experienced the same thing as before. Hope that helped! Im sure someone a bit more experienced will add a bit more shortly.... Cheers, Aaron

Indeed AM, I noticed and was working on it because it mentioned only one being;[2012-05-03 14:34:26 - Website 2] AndroidManifest.xml file missing! SO...for some weird reason Eclipse didn't import all the files from my folder (Source Code) and I started to add them manually... That AndroidManifest.xml is in there but it has a little red cross so something is wrong but it only became bad because I imported it form my source code...??

that is odd, my only suggestions would be to start a new project with the same source code, and see if it imports then, or if not try re-packaging and try a new project with that, More technical advice on the way im sure!

whats the app name? is it definately unique from all the others, and does it have spaces? i had appDelegate errors on my first app, relegated it to the reserve bench, started a new one basically the same but incidentally doesnt have spaces in the title, now im running it fine through eclipse...

Wow great topic. I see im not the only one having issues with manifest. I was able to get the emulator started but now the application has a problem loading the apps configuration data. I took a break for about a month after dealing with this, so now im ready to get back on the roll. I can't wait to figure out all the issues and finally get my app on the market.

It could be a name you gave one of your files or images. I have found that these programs are picky with naming conventions. In general, try not to use names with spaces, special characters, names beginning with a number, and don't use CAPITAL letters. try to find images you might have named like this and rename and re upload them with the new name.
