Hello, what type of issues are you having? I too had and still have some issues with Eclipse, but maybe we can work them out together. I finally got things up and running but having an issue loading my application.

I have a almost step by step guide. It's probably worth a read. Start with Installing Eclipse and continue with The Android Process. www.MySkylla.com

Thanks a bunch! @Fred I did check out your blog, it was really helpful. I actually saw some new things when I reloaded and added my images to the doc in the assets. Now it has a force close error, so Im working on that as we speak! I know its all a process and once I get through the bugs it will be worth the struggle!

It the force close issue appears after adding images it's usually due to a space (or illegal character) in a screen nickname. Fred

Also, @AppChick, there is a bug with background colors...so I would avoid those as well. Mark

Having .png is OK (I believe), but it's best to remove any weird characters from the filename. Android doesn't like that! If you look at the Readme file that came with your download package, they spell out exactly what to do with images, and the issues with them and Android. Mark

A - not allowed in BTv2.0 for images because the BT_images folder is in the res folder. Use a _ instead. Fred

From the Readme file: "ECLIPSE ONLY ALLOWS LOWER CASE LETTERS IN IMAGE NAMES. This means the image you add to the /res/drawable directory must have lower-case file names. This also means that all the images named in your control panel must also have lower case file names." So, png and jpg are supported. I'd remove any - or _, and just stick with lower case names, no spaces. Mark

Thanks Mark, I just changed all of that a few seconds ago. Im sure its something that I just need to go back and change because now im receiving "Sorry the application lgo (process com.lgo) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" I think I will refresh and start from scratch. Also I have 3 icons for my application all different versions, how do I delete them so I can just focus on one?

Did you update the BT_Config.txt file on your development computer (the one running Eclipse)? If you copy the configuration data from your control panel, paste it into BT_Config.txt, refresh the project, then do a Project...Clean in Eclipse, and build again, it might take care of things. If you are running this in the Emulator, there should be some info in LogCat that will tell us what's going on. Mark

40 day free trial? Did you get the right eclipse? I remember having issues with what eclipse version I was using. the only one the works correctly for me using windows is eclipse windows 64.

First, the 64-bit version will not work on a 32-bit machine. So, just stick with the 32-bit one, and grab it from that first link you mention (not the mirror). From there just continue to follow the instructions! You are doing this on Windows, correct? Mark
