What screens do you have? Are they correct? Is it just a series of RSS feeds?

Add native only features. Telephony, GPS, Camera, Local Storage for offline use. But as HTML5 advances this distinction will be even more meaningless. Clearly this begs the question, "What makes an app a iOS Native app and not a HTML5 app?“ Noticed a non-jailbreak HTML5 tethering solution today. Clearly the only real distinction will be in the eye of the reviewer. PhoneGap's use of HTML5 is clearly a problematical issue. Perhaps the bigger you are, and more essential Apple the least likely this rule will apply. Apparently Facebook's iOS app was rejected initially, but is it conceivable that iOS would survive without Facebook. Facebook is all over HTML5, but don't expect them to be rejected by Apple whenever they update their app. Fred

I've gotten that rejection reason about 3 times so far...it's always kind of a bummer. I second what Fred said - the review guidelines say that app that are SIMPLY content aggregators will be rejected, so it's probably a good idea to add native features. Whenever I do add an rss feed to an app I always make sure that the feeds take the user to websites that are formatted for the iPhone (HTML5 I guess it's called?) . Some feeds just throw you into a huge website screen with ads popping up everywhere, then you have to close out tiny pop-up windows and pinch the screen around until you find what you're looking for. I imagine when an Apple reviewer sees an rss feed like this it might reflect badly on the app as a whole.

Begs the question, What is Apple looking for? What is the Apple experience? What makes Apple happy? Fred

Personally, I believe that Apple wants to eliminate free apps. Any movement toward common functionality that will only allow a company to get a small marketing bump simply isn't enough reason to allow someone to post an app in their precious store. I truly doubt that they would turn down an app (aggregate or otherwise) from a company or individual (like a celebrity) for a "lack of innovation".
