7 Days later...and the approval put my first app into the history books.

Created a basic state capital trivia game to learn the process. Ended up letting my curiosity get the best of me and added a number of features including a Bonus Gallery of all 50 State Quarters. I hard coded all the data into the config file so the only need to connect online is for ads and the scoreboard. Great learning process. I had signed the app as developer instead of for distribution and received a "warning" upon archiving...but they accepted anyway. Just submitted a version update today with some minor bugs removed. Thanks again Buzztouch...it is great to be a member of the club! Rich http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/us-trivia/id521329068?mt=8&ls=1

Very nice looking app! Congratulations on making it through the process. That's very weird that they accepted and published an app signed with developer and not as distribution. I thought the verification process was supposed to catch that! I'll download the app and play around with it...I'll bet my kids that I can beat them at the quiz! Mark

Thanks Mark...knowing that children might be the biggest audience, I made the iAds safe for 18 and under. It's funny how I started off just trying to get something in the store...but during the process I started to really want to make it quality product.

Glad to hear that about wanting to make it a quality product...so many people just want to try and earn money! I figure anything I put out there is a representation of me, so it should be as good as possible. Can't wait for the kids to try it! Mark
