Playing embedded video on IOS with 2.0 self hosted server

Hello Guys, I just tryed to log on for the first time on a 2.0 self hosted server, tks to www.MySkylla.com. But I dont find a way to play an embedded video like we use to on 1.5, I know nothing about coding, so I dont think I can create a plug in myself. I'm dying to go on 2.0 as I heard that it possible to copy and paste app's so that everytime I do a new app I dont have to start all over again, which is taking me ages ... But as I mainly do videos, I'm stuck. Tks for the help. Serge

I'm using jplayer in a HTML doc. When users tap the video it launches the native iOS player and works for me. This is for self hosted content and allows me to customize the video preview/title/details. Another common way is to use the launch native app and call YouTube videos. That invokes the native iOS player too.

That's seems to be a good solution, can you give more information on how to implement the jplayer, im new to this. Also is it true that you can sort of duplicate an app on self hosting solutions and if so how ? Couldt find any options like that. Tks for the help ! Serge

download the jplayer laurand posted in this thread. it's 100% packaged and working. i've customized my own but started with his package to learn it. very cool of him to post that, it got me going with jplayer. http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=04BB6256E3F4E3A4F34797E&fid=1A0BC2DCA1F04DB67238B9A&sortColumn=FT.id&sortUpDown=DESC&currentPage=1 otherwise hit the jplayer site and follow the tutorial. i'm also holding some code antoher user sent me to work with the native audio player. progressing very slowly here tho :( app duplication/deletion - i believe these are 2 features all BT users/versions are waiting on....
