Feed Map/GPS location where i am on to my app and save - How to?

Hiya I am a newbie here working on android using BTv2.0 but am stuck on the map issue. I would like to be able to be able to feed coordinates (Map/GPS) of any particular point i am at, into my app, save and possibly enter into the apps excel plugin for onward sending off. I may want to do it for multiple locations on the same farm for example. I think i have everything else pretty much set up, but cant quite figure out how to get this crucial bit done. The bit about obtain Map/GPS location coordinate + save + feed into excel plugin + save is at the moment giving me sleepless nights at the usually multiple locations.
