Hi Guys, I'd like to throw an initiative out there as I think we may all be missing a bit of an opportunity. Every time someone posts an approval on this forum we all checkout their work, give kudos where appropriate, some of us hand out promo codes, we all congratulate each other and then......that's it. There are many Buzztouchers that produce great apps that we're interested in and, more importantly, that people we know may be interested in. Yesterday for example, ASusoeff announced his new Scouting related app. I thought it looked good, my nephew is in The Scouts, would probably really dig it, his mates might dig it, but they all may never know it exists. My idea is this: When posting an approval to the forum, list any Facebook pages, Google+, or Twitter accounts for the app. When we all rush in to congratulate our fellow Buzztoucher, if it's an app we like we can follow on twitter and RT a tweet about it, like the Facebook page etc. If we all do this for each other where appropriate, we will instantly and drastically increase the profile of all our hard-worked apps and take the great support we give each other on this forum into the outside world where there are many who would love to know that our apps exist. I'd love to hear all of your thoughts and suggestions on this plan. To get the ball rolling, I know that some of you saw that my new app 'The Prisoner Compendium' was released yesterday. i think thats a good idea, raise the downloads, popularity..although some of us might not use twitter or facebook i have twitter but no followers, and facebook not many people go on my page this might work for people with popularity already, people with large youtube followers etc

Thanks for your input ceerup, and I agree with your observations. However I think it doesn't matter how few followers etc. some of us may have, 5 each becomes quite a large number when you add all of us up. Since we all have the issue of how to raise visibility and drive downloads/popularity I think we're overlooking that, clubbed together, we ourselves constitute the answer.

Good idea. If you have a link to facebook or twitter, people who purchased the app would also have an easy way to ask you questions/ provide feedback on your app. and pass along to their friends.
