Where to look for plugin learning.

Until the BTU courses on plugins come out, where would one look to learn more about the code involved in creating a plugin? Is there a comparable thing in another type of program?

In your account setting you'll find a link to Buzztouch Guide to Plugins http://www.buzztouch.com/BT-server/bt-server-plugins.pdf Next you should read the Buzztouch v1.5 documentation found in the How To section. Next you should read my Source Code (Android) article. www.myskylla.com My Buzztouch & JSON article will help bring the picture together of how Buzztouch works. Then open up a few of the .xml files and you'll see how the framework of Buzztouch is put together for the creation of individual screens. The NewBoston videos (link in Buzztouch's How To section) are excellent. There's several series which will help. A couple of sites that I found very interesting are: php.org and json.org both will help you understand the code you see. Fred

And of course another excellent way to learn is to examine the current plugins that are available. That'll give you a framework on which to base future plugins. Mark

i found some sections of @mgoblues Game center tutorial very helpful in learning to understand the BT code a bit and how to manipulate/add to it. it's not a plug-in how to, but it's the most detailed document i've seen regarding adding and using other pieces of code like #import, @interface, @property and @synthesize into existing BT code. i'm trying to learn as well. i'm just trying to get 'Hello World' to pop up in the my_first_plugin i made following the BT instructions. i'm getting close, i think....
