Adding new Parse features

I managed to get Parse push notifications working somewhat (to my surprise) easily. I've seen in other discussion posts that others have also gotten push with Parse up and running. Has anyone here implemented some of the other features of Parse? Such as the login screen? I'd love to get that going but not sure where to start. A plug in screen I guess? oh, I'm using BT 1.5 on IOS. Josh

i finished their tutorial a few days ago and started to insert some code. it's rough having to make that certificate and go thru the ios provisioning portal to really test it on actual device. but i want that PN feature unitl the BT one is ready. i looked at the login feature too. seems like a small piece of code to enter. as an API, Parse it is a lot simpler to implement than AVIARY which is a SDK that you have to add Frameworks, etc.. that i have also been playing with. but the thing i did notice working with both of these platforms is that they both say 'you can present it modally' and to a UIViewController subclass. Parse documentation seems to say it creates classes automatically or works with a PFclass for the Login feature. i think with Aviary you have to create and import the class yourself. i'm working on learning to work with the UIViewController classes within BT code as this seems to be the key to customizing apps with no boundries. So many tutorials that show how to do classes start as new projects and then use the .XIB files which throw me off. i know one piece of the puzzle is the appDelegate.h and .m files. you appDelegate files, not the BTappDelegate files. Parse has you edit them heavily. and then i think the other 2 pieces of the puzzle and the difference regarding new plug-in or not- is what BTscreen you want to implement Parse on. if a new screen type, then i believe new plug-in. but if it's an existing screen, then you want to edit/insert the code in that BT_screen(whatever screen you are using, like menu or buttons) file. again, i'm just learning this stuff - but some of the sample code other BT folk have sent me seem to work like this. i'm trying to get my BT "Hello World" my_first_plugin using a .XIB file working before i really tear into Parse more. but perhaps looking into UIViewController would be a good place to start? good luck right? the more i study, the more i understand why there are so few plug-ins out there.....LOL

Just noting that Parse added another nice feature for geolocation. Like you Atrain, I'm kinda challenged by building a new plugin. But I'd say the Parse feature set would be top of the want list.

Josh - Just finally got the Parse login screen working in my app. (funny look back at these posts and see what you learn) I did it thru a plug-in screen and it has the ability to sign-up new users, or login with facebook/Twitter to your app. Very nice how it sits in front of a screen you want only authorized users seeing. Nice to have all the authentication taking place on their back-end now. Is this still of interest if I try to bake it into a plugin?
