Unable to change e-mail address after BT-server installation

Hi David, hi everybody! First of all: thanx for BT and congratulations! It's really a great tool! (Already 5 apps available in the App Store...) Now, my problem: I've installed the BT-server on my own server (OS X, Apache, MySQL), everything seems ok... except for the 1st thing I have to do, change the fans(at)buzztouch.com default e-mail! I could change password, name, timezone, but when I try to change the e-mail there's a strange reaction: - with Safari, I get a message saying that it can't open http://www.fusions.ch/BT-server/account/account_email.php because the server interrupted the connection (but actually the server works quite good for all the rest) - with Firefox, it doesn't load the page either, and proposes me to download the account_email.php file Strange, isn't it? Any idea, anybody? Thanks in advance for any suggestion or help! Jack

Still no clue about a solution... Meanwhile, I tried creating a new user... same behaviour: when submitting, Safari can't open the page because the server interrupted the connection... Some Apache, MySQL, PHP misconfiguration??? Some files of the BT-server needing adaptation to Mac OS X? Thanks in advance for any advice or help!

Did you ever get this figured out? I don't know the details about the differences between a Linux PHP install and a Mac OSX PHP install. I'm sure there are some, I just don't know them off hand. The server interrupting the page is troubling, not sure how that has anything to do with this. I'm guessing some sort of PHP error when encrypting to the users info? Just a guess.

Hi David! Sorry to bother you with this, I know you have plenty other things to mind for! It's a quite strange behaviour... Never seen anything like this with PHP and MySQL. Moreover, the behaviour with Firefox (a prompt asking what it should do with the file) is even stranger... Files authorization are 755, everything seems ok, but I'm unable to do anything. I tried to create a new user... I get the same reaction from Safari and Firefox... So... what should I do? Do you know anybody who installed BT-server on MacOS X? Thanks for help! Greetings from Montreux, Switzerland Jack

I don't know anyone that's tried this on Mac OSX. But...it should be doable. Do you have a URl for me to test? Are you able to run ANY php pages, like a php test page? Seems like a PHP install thing with the results you're describing.
