Trying Buzztouch with Flash Builder

This is probably a heavily "advanced" question for you coder types. I have a copy of Adobe Flash Builder for php. According to that software I should be able to build mobile apps for iOS, Android and Blackberry os simutaneously. What i would like to do...since i am used to the Buzztouch interface, is design in buzztouch, bring over to Adobe flash builder to tweak and customize further (kinda like what i do in eclipse now) and then compile from AFB rather than xcode and eclipse. I have a few choices of how to import the source code from buzztouch. for example it can be a flex mobile project, flex mobile and php project, action script mobile project andd a bunch of others that do not mention mobile such as flash catylst and flash professional. So, does anybody know what type of source code is generated from the android or iOS sources at buzztouch? Am I barking up the wrong tree? Smoking Crack? Just plain nuts? Seems that if I can figure this out, it would be an AWESOME alternative to using a mac AND a PC, not to mention the added attraction of having Blackberry iOS as a third alternative for our applications.

interesting idea. that AFB seems to say it is ECLIPSE based. Eclipse runs on MAC and you can develop for MAC/Win on the same box. but Xcode does not run on Windows. i'm just starting to explore importing foreign code into BT. from what i'm learning about the architecture you will need to learn a lot about how the BT code handles "views" and where the code you generate in AFB would fit into BT. i don't think you'll be able to manage/control/update a BT APP thru AFB. do they even provide a back-end to house the app? (remember that is part of the magic of BT) i'd also think there would be a lot of Adobe Framework to import into BT. David posted recently that the source code you download is standard code, there's nothing proprietary about it's format. that was key for me to see and digest. The (.h) header and methods (.m) files are standard files you can open in notepad and edit. AFB will have no problem opening them. you're far from barking up the wrong tree. breaking this down will teach you a ton about the language. what i'd do is look to see if AFB has a "Hello World" sample you can take apart and try to integrate with BT. Start there and feel free to pass me the crack pipe my way for a bit - all this code i've been studying trying to learn new stuff, my brain is spinning.

what i was talking about was more...take the code from BT and instead of using xcode for ios and then eclipse for droid...whay not use AFB for both? You would still be using BT, and housing on BT servers, ...but instead of two compilers you would only need one.

course, one of the best things about BT is that the way it is set up ther is nothing to buy. Eclipse and xcode are both free. AFB costs bucks Another one of the things that is "magical" about BT... :-)
