HTML refresh

Hi, I have altered a HTML doc which I have stored on the BT server as a URL. Every time I have refreshed the app on my device that one page is not updating. I have never had this problem before, and other similar HTML pages/screens are updating when I change them from the control panel. I'm confused as to why it is only this page that has not updated. I've re made the screen again, uploaded the new HTML URL and it still does not work. The HTML doc is not stored in the eclipse project yet, neither are the others- but they are still updating!I've even tried re exporting the APK but this had not helped either! Any ideas about what's going wrong? any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks! Tish.

in terms of "referesh" are you Refreshing the "screen data" or "All data"? This can make a difference. I have had the same issue on my droid x2. Also may need to clear the cache of the app itself from you menu>settings>applications area (or however that works on your device. If i understand the process, the screen activity goes in this order: Looks for something in the BT_docs area (or BT_images if it is a pic for example) Looks for something in the cache Looks for a URL but i could be totally wrong on that. I am in no way a coder. Try the cache thing first.

I have altered a HTML doc which I have stored on the BT server as a URL. This statement makes no sense. The altered HTML doc must be saved somewhere. You can't store it on the server via URL. You can link to if but not save it. Every time I have refreshed the app on my device that one page is not updating. What are you trying to refresh? The URL is saved in the Config file. Are you trying to refresh the Config file? Fred

Thank you ASusoeff and Fred. Clearing the cache worked =) I was using HTML 1 just to clarify! And Fred sorry for my miscommunication, evidence of burn out! I understand that the HTML docs are saved on my computer and linked to the server via URL! And I was simply refreshing the screen data. Thanks, I appreciate the help on trivial matters to you guys, but matters which have been driving me up the wall!! Tish.

not trivial by any means yp2201...there is a learning curve here for all of us. Seems it was about a month ago I was asking @goNorthWest and @fred the same sorts of questions...Now i have several apps on the market. Takes patience and tenacity ;-)

@yp2201, no apologies required, been there done that. It's always important to get the terminology correct because incorrect terminology can set us on the wrong path the that always ends with a dead end, hair pullin or both. Fred
