Prevent iPhone HTML highlighting

Hey! I have an info page that has a business website, email, telephone, business hours, etc... Everything gets highlighted. Including the business hours which point to the calendar. How do I prevent the iPhone from highlighting this data and linking it? I have buttons on this page that point to email, call, gps maps etc... and would like everything else to just be text. Thanks!

There is an advanced setting on your screen that stops dates etc being highlighted. Not at computer right now so dig around in the advanced settings, you'll find it.

@MacApple has it right. It's under Document Behaviour in the Advanced Properties for your screen. It's the recognize addresses and phone numbers dropdown. Mark

Oh Doh! Yah I found it in the Advanced Settings. Thanks! I found a small bug in buzztouch though. If you select not to show links, and save, the html page will stop working. It'll be just a white blank page in the app, it starts working again as soon as you re-save the HTML page.

Are you talking a Custom HTML page (using the buzztouch editor), or an actual HTML page that you link to or include with the app? I would avoid using Custom HTML pages at all cost. There are bugs in the editor, and those pages always require a connection to the Internet to retrieve. Mark

Yes, I'm talking about the Custom HTML Editor in BT. It seems to work fine in my apps.. I'll probably start using my own files then, I thought that the custom pages were downloaded and opened locally within the app.

Custom HTML pages are downloaded (cached) and opened locally each time. But, it still requires an Internet connection the first time, and caching doesn't seem to work 100% of the time. I find it safer to use an HTML via URL, or local HTML. Mark
