Modifying HTML/Text Plugin on Live Android App

I am trying to change the text in a live Android App. I have made other changes to the live app--changes to the Menus and navigation bar--and these changes appear as soon as I refresh. But when I try to change the text on the HTML/text plugin, the change doesn't appear when I refresh. Any ideas?

Have you tried clearing the browser cache on the device/emulator? Browser > Menu > More > Settings > Privacy Configuration > Clear all cookie data, clear cache and clear history.

Thank you, Raveyd! I guess I am not the only person working on Sunday. Thank you for responding. This is on the live app, not the emulator or testing on a device. I want everyone who downloads the app to see the new information as soon as they refresh. I did uninstall the app, change it back to debug, and ran the app from eclipse. The new information loads when you reinstall it. But I don't want on-line users to have to do that to see the changes to the information. As a workaround, I could upload a new apk file to Google Play. The beauty of Android is that you don't need to wait a week every time you submit and update! Thank you, Raveyd!

Susan, actually there is no need to upload new apk file on Google Play. I've noticed that it sometime takes a few minutes before the new changes comes into effect.

You are totally right! The next morning, the new screens were there. Unlike other changes to the buzztouch fields, the HTML/text must take a bit more time to come through to the app.

Susan can I ask you do you create html / custom text files in bt itself or you create it using some html editor? If you create it with html editor and then put those files in bt_docs folder in eclipse or xcode. It will work wonder only if your html pages dong get updated all more often. Think about it.

I'm using the Buzztouch editor. It has been working well for me and the delay is not a problem. I don't know HTML very well but plan to learn it soon, and at that point will try your suggestion. Thank you!

Actually editing in html editor is not that tough. You can use Evrsoft First Page 2006 editor which is free software and not difficult to understand even for a new person. Here is the link for downloading it: http://www.evrsoft.com/1stpage3.shtml Download and have a look at it, you will soon know what i am saying.
