Multiple Splash Screens

Is it possible to make two splash screens? So one would come up, info about the app, then it fades out and second one comes up saying "Powered by company". Is that possible within buzztouch?

Anything is possible in xcode. Here's a thread on how to add dual splash screens: http://www.cocos2d-iphone.org/forum/topic/6642

hmmm...neat idea. perhaps we can animate a gif file and then put the gif in the splash screen?

Ooh, I'm going to try that. Completely forgot about animated gifs. Thanks.

well now I don't know that gifs are going to be compatible. normally that is a png or jpg it might require messing with the plugin itself just a little bit.

yeah, let me know... that would be awesome branding and/or marketing tool to have a quick blip of your company logo or something else. not to mention any type of animated splash screen will look way more professional then a simple image

Animated gif will not work by just copying and pasting a gif file and adding it to a splash screen. You have to copy each frame of the gif. As an example for a 30 frame gif you'll need to apply the following into xcode: int numberOfFames = 30; NSMutableArray *imagesArray = [NSMutableArray arrayWithCapacity:numberOfFames]; for (int i=1; numberOfFrames > i; ++i) { [imagesArray addObject:[UIImage imageNamed: [NSString stringWithFormat:@"gtp-%d (dragged).tiff", i]]]; } UIImageView *anImageView = [[[UIImageView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(40,100,250,188)] autorelease]; [self.view addSubview:anImageView]; anImageView.animationImages = imagesArray; anImageView.animationDuration = 1; [anImageView startAnimating]; Its actually easier to have dual splash screens :)

@ASusoeff I haven't tried it on Droid, therefore have no idea if its easier or not.
