8.3: Apps which appear confusingly similar to an existing Apple product or advertising theme will be rejected

"We found that your app is too similar to iOS springboard icons, which is not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines. Specifically, the rejection relates to the use of rounded icons like Apple's iOS springboard icons." Attention with rounded icons!!!

Yeah, Apple doesn't like anything that might confuse a user as to who made the product!

Can you show us what some of the icons look like? I think the issue is that if they are icons within the app itself that look like the rounded springboard icons, that would be an issue. You can certainly use a springboard-like icon for your app icon in general (I would think). Mark

Well, I can see how some of those icons are a bit similar to ones that Apple provides. I don't think it has anything to do with rounded corners...I have an app that has icons in that exact same shape...but more because they represent icons for a few Apple products. Mark

Larger buttons oftentimes do the trick too. Maybe double the size for iPhone and iPad?

Yes I got thes same message along with other comment guidelines. 8.3 Use of Rounded Icons 10.6 Poor UI 12.3 Content Aggregator Either we can remove the Round Corner Radius and also the size of icons. What abt the other two ? any suggestions ?
