When will Push Notification be ready

First of all thanks to all the guys here for posting great tutorials and customizations in the forum.. The push notifications in the control panel is showing coming soon from months. Can i know around what time it will be out because it would be the most important feauture of this buzztouch.. I tried integrating Parse and Urbanairship but their guide went over my head... I require push for android 2.0 Thanks, Elecy

As with most things the complexity of creating a basic platform is much greater than most imagine. So it'sprobably impossible to forecast when such and such feature will be available. I would suggest reading my Source Code (Android) file and the Buzztouch v1.5 documentation. It'll make more sense after you read it a couple times, then tackle the push notification again and you'll be able to make greater headway. www.myskylla.com Fred

I'm also anxious for this feature to be implemented as well on the BT Server platform! I'd much prefer to keep my clients inside my BT Control Panel than send them to a 3rd party website to generate the notices. That's the main reason I have yet to tinker with UA, Parse or Apoxee yet. I was looking at this tutorial a couple of weeks ago and it looks do-able and keeps it all under your control and no 3rd party... http://blog.serverdensity.com/2009/07/10/how-to-build-an-apple-push-notification-provider-server-tutorial/
