Hiya folks, Well I've been stuck in 'offical work' whhaaayyy too busy for the last 6+ months. But I've got some good news :) A horse app I made for free to support a local horse charity won 2nd prize in the 'doing good' category in the 'Best Ever Apps' Awards this January. Over 7200 apps were nominated in various categories & 1.5 million votes were cast globally! And more good news is that the app has just also been nominated for the Irish 2012 Social Media Awards. Here's a link to the press coverage: http://greyhorseapps.com/ Also.. there's a HUGE startup / IT / Tech thing happening right now in Ireland / Dublin. Every week it seems you can't swing a cat without ending in another startup / innovation / bootcamp / websummit / VC event. Just saw another 'make your own apps' business is going to be at an event tonight. Had a quick look at this website... they stuff is LIGHT YEARS behind what buzztouch can do. Seriously. So my suggestion is if you'd like I think buzztouch should be represented at these events! Happy to man a stand for free & talk about my experience :) Elaine.

I am staggered by this testimony of good will. I speak on behalf of a poor boy in Hong Kong, and I believe there is no reason why not. It's always great to thank Buzztouch for their efforts, by helping them anywhere we can. If all the suggestions are taken account of, then 'thumbs up' from Asia ! Anthony

awesome story, congrats on the placing. what took 1st place, how much more advanced was it? that's not a bad idea - a mobile Buzztouch booth so they can have a presence at trade shows, etc... could buld an app and have it running in 20 min. how many folks would walk away from that thinking - 'i gotta have that' IIRC David likes to travel....
