A simpler scoring system for BT quiz apps.

Hi Everyone, Posting this here because I don't know if this feature already exists... I have created a small quiz app using buzz touch. and I am having trouble with the total / scores. I would prefer a simple 1 point for correct and 0 for wrong answers 20 question quiz. mainly because I am trying to replicate and actual official govt test. But the buzz touch default starts with 150 points and has bonus points after 3 correct answers and all sorts of confusing (to me) scoring system. Is it possible to simplify the scoring system to a 1 point for correct and 0 for wrong type system ? If this doesn't exist , this woudl be a great little feature addition to the existing scoring system. Thanks

If using buzztoouch IOS v1.5 under Advanced Settings in your quiz screen you will see where you can change the quiz behavior, otherwise you can change it in the actual source code you download

I am using Buzztouch version 1.4 and I can't see an advanced settings tab, maybe i need to investigate porting the app over to 1.5. THanks for the tip anyway. Can I update it from 1.4 to 1.5 automatically or do I have to rewrite the app? Thanks,

You could take a look in your source code and change some numbers...in the v1.4 for IOS look in the TakeQuizViewController.m file...around line 340 you will see //determine how many points we earned for this answer int pointsPerRight = 150; are you building for both IOS and Android?

Thanks my friend that is awesome. I am quite dumb with code as yet, Fred from Myskylla.com helped me with compiling this code for Android to begin with. I will edit the points perright. I would love to develop for Ios too, but I am a bit too much of a novice at this stage. Thanks for the awesome tip. Can you also tell me how do I reduce the time it takes for the second question to appear after a question is answered. Once a question is answered it appears to take 2 seconds or so which makes people think the app has "hung"

If you connect the trivia in your app to Game Center (if you are making this for iOS), you can change the scoring in the Game Center settings on iTunes Connect.

I have a quiz app that is actually doing pretty good on both iPhone and Android markets... people do complain tho that they would like an option to go back and just study the questions they got wrong... is there anything out there that can improve the basic quiz options in Buzztouch?
