HTML question - links appear out of nowhere

Say I have an html file which includes events for the month of March 2015. It's name is "march2015.htm." On this page are various events, each preceded by a day of the month, for example I have text which reads "March 17." If the app goes to this htm file, no problem, all prints out as it should. But, on a menu page in the same app, I have a list of links to various months and years. One is for March of 2017 and the code is <li><a href="march2015.htm">March 20, 2015</a></li> When you go, THROUGH THIS LINK to the same March 2015 htm file, all the dates on the page now have links, which when you click them open up the calendar to set an event for the date. I don't want this. So my question is, why when the htm file is accessed directly the dates in the text show up normally without links, but if the file is referenced from another file through a link, the file shows up will all the dates now as links, underlined and in blue? Any ideas? Thanks.

My only guess is that you have the BuzzTouch screen (html doc) set to ignore the dates/times as set in the advanced properties for the screen. But for some reason, when you go to the other page, which links to that same page, it doesn't know its supposed to ignore the dates. If that's the case, I'm not sure how you'd fix that. I'm not sure if that linked page should take on the properties of the "parent" html doc. (Did you check the advanced properties on the parent?).

Strobe, Yes, the app is ignoring the choice I had put in to ignore links (not date/times, there is no such choice, but phone numbers/address which ignores dates also. It ignores them directly but not when coming from a parent page. Very strange. I hope someone has an idea. Steve

Fred, i don't know what you're getting at. All my files are listed as htm files both in buzztouch and in Xcode. Steve

Solved the problem. I also check "ignore phone numbers and addresses" in the parent menu too in addition to the htm files the menu calls. Now all is right with the world. Thanks all. Steve
