Hiring Someone to write code?

I am well along in developing my first app with the aid of Buzztouch. I should mention that I have "0" coding experience and hence my thanks to the creators of buzztouch. I know have an idea for a small resource app, but I cannot find code for it anywhere that I can put into my project. My question is "What do I do next?" Can I hire someone to write the code for me? How do I do that? Do I get that person to sign a letter that they cannot produce the app for themselves? Basically I have several ideas for some useful apps but I have no idea how to write the code to put into the buzz touch created app. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Darren

Darren, Yup, you're best bet would be to try and find a coder who can help you out. You can probably get them to sign a non-disclosure agreement, and include a clause that the concept belongs to you. Now, to find someone who can help you, that'll be tough. There might be a few people around here- but it might be worth checking out those outsourcing sites like Freelancer etc. // J

Hi, Just before you hire someone (which is very expensive), maybe its worth asking us for help. It mught save you some buckes, and allow you to make the app by yourself. Give it a shot.

Thanks for the replies. Ok, so if I was to start to ask for help here, what kind of information would I need to provide in order to get started? Darren

As a first bit of information, just tell us what you would like to do: a Game, a screen that uses the accelerometer, etc. By the way, do not forget to check out the Apple Support on XCode, since they have some samples. (this is, if you are using XCode)

Sorry, I forgot to say that I am using XCode. I will check out Apple support, as you suggest. I would like to build a utility app that uses the camera on the iphone/ipad. I would like to overlay something on the camera screen when it opens.
