App rejection 12.3

i had 6 of my apps rejected, the last three where pretty good the told me "The most recent version of your app has been rejected" 12.3 i have many features including tabs with pdf's, image gallery, sound tab, etc. i only had one tab with rss feeds. i asked them "I was wandering how this is not sufficiently different from browsing a content on website, i has many features and user friendly interface?" This is what they replied to me "To clarify, it would be appropriate to provide more native iOS elements for your app rather than using primarily web-based content views. " Dont know what to do right now! any ideas? Thanks

Hello, I'm sorry to hear that, but rest assured, Apple can be quite strict sometimes. Do you think it would be possible that I test the app, just too see what it's like and maybe help improve it ? Thank you, and good luck

Apple are funny mate as you well know. They want you to do something with the phone that you cannot ordinarily do on a website. RSS, PDFs, Sound board and gallery can all be achieved on a website. They want something that is an iPhone feature, shake function, user image upload to gallery, quizzes, push notifications that type of thing. That said there are many apps out there that probably do less than yours. What category you submitting to? Try and think of user interaction as well as just browsing or aggregating content. Make sense? Don't give up.

Hi I have a problem archiving my app in xcode, I keep on getting the message "No unexpired provisioning profiles found that contain any of the keychain's signing certificates" Even though I have successfully installed provisioning profiles and can run the app on my ipod touch...how can I fix this so that I can finally submit my app to the app store

@MacApple yeah... i know what you mean! im taking my time when im making apps, making sure this is something that i would use, my last app was about a car, where i had some engine sounds within the app and stuff, for the category it was: Primary > LifeStyle Secondary > Sport i really though ill get it approved, but it didnt Ill try to add quizzes, and push notifications, see if it helps, btw where do you manage your push notifications? Also how do you integrate object c, or lets say making shake functions with BuzzTouch? Thanks A lot for help @MacApple

if all your app does is pull content from the internet it will probably get rejected...I've had a couple of mine rejected for the same reason. Adding quizzes is a good idea - also, adding an image gallery with an image uploader might be a good way to make your app more appealing to the review team. Parse is a good choice for push notifications - the tutorial on their website worked perfect for my buzztouch app

@V_Mezoz Happy days. Your app is screaming out for a gallery and quiz if it is about a car. Gallery with upload will serve as a wee portal for users to upload images if their model, custom jobs etc and the quiz can test their car knowledge. I also echo the above, Parse is easy to install in iOS, you'll get it. Keep us posted and don't give up.
