Setup BT server with GoDaddy

Tried to hook up Bt server with GoDaddy the installation screen can't be seem. Weird... After I ftp BT-server-beta-2.1.6 folder to my host. After I open the browser (Google Chrome), http://www.domainName/BT-server-beta-2.1.6/install, the installation page doesn't load up. Does anyone else have this issue?

Hi in Sydney: Shouldn't have anything to do with GoDaddy - lots of installs on their backend without any troubles. Are you sure you've unzipped the files before uploading them to your web-enabled directory? Probably a silly question but it happens. What do you see when you visit the URL you posted above...Blank screen...error...message?

Hi David, I did, I unzipped the files on my mac before I ftp it to my host. I purchased the domain name from "Crazy domain", after I open google chrome with address http://www.domainName/BT-server-beta-2.1.6/install, I see the "Crazy domain" web page with their web message "This domain name is registered and parked with Crazy Domains." Tried many time, the installation screen doesn't load up. Strange...

Sounds to me like your domain name isn't resolving to your new hosting account. Verify this by trying to... a) connect to your hosting account with FTP. b) Modify the index.html or index.php page in your root directory (different hosts use different default documents). c) Visit your domain name - just the domain like www.domain.com Do you get the default web page you modified or do you get the "This domain is parked" message. If you get the parked message, your domain isn't resolving to your web hosting account and you'll need to look into why. This will be related to how your setup your DNS information where you registered your domain name. If it does resolve to your web host, something isn't adding up ;-) If you're unsure how to make DNS adjustments to your domain, follow the instructions on the site where you registered the domain. Different registrars use different methods to make changes to where your domain name "points." The idea is that you need to get your domain name pointing to your new web hosting account. Until this happens you'll be stuck.
