Correct sequence and versions for Android on Mac?

Hi All... have watched several videos and read the excellent and detailed instructions here and elsewhere BUT...I would love for someone who has actually developed a simple (or complicated) app for the Android with their Mac. All I need is which edition of each software (Eclipse has several as does Java, etc) in what sequence. So, I have a MacBook Pro (intel dual core)...which Elipse? Which Java (theres a list of possibles)? Which SDK (although, I guess the only discretion is what Android are you targeting, right?) I installed, I think, everything and it wont compile...I get 200 errors most of which have something to do with maps and I didnt use any maps in my app??? Is there a current video or doc I could look at that has updated screens and software references? thanksvery much

I feel like a recruitment agent I get all the credit while they do all the hard work. Great news Mark (GNW) on new version I will be using it very soon. Fred is a very helpful bear that pops up at every Android question with great advice and a load of grief for apple users

I'm working on the tutorial this very second (well, soon as I finish this post!). Hope to have something published much later this evening (or very early in the morning). Mark
