Timestamped youtube video

By adding a timestamp at the end of the weblink Youtube allows you to email a video link so that it begins at a certain time, for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UF8uR6Z6KLc&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UF8uR6Z6KLc&feature=related#t=3m23s I would like to use the feature so that I can attach the last half of a youtube video to one of my HTML documents. Pasting a timestamped link in the Youtube plugin results in the video beginning at the start. Using the Streaming Video plugin results in an error "The operation could be not completed" or the App just crashing. Any ideas of how to get this feature to work?? I was thinking I could download the video from youtube (not sure how to do that) and then edit the video -- any thoughts?

you could use 'atubecatcher' to download and edit the video, it's free and very good.

Does anyone have a solution for this which doesn't involve pirating someone else's video to create content on my app? I want to be able to embed a specific timecode within an HTML doc or HTML page, but it opens it natively and starts from the beginning. Anyone successfully force the timecode behavior?
