Hi, I am trying to set up a development environment for Android on my Windows 7 PC. I have followed the how to: Setting_Up_Your_Android_Development_Environment_v1.3.pdf I have downloaded and installed Java JDK, Android SDK and Eclipse but when I go to the Android SDK manager in Eclipse I get this error: [2012-03-31 17:04:23 - SDK Manager] Failed to fetch URL http://dll-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/addon.xml, reason: dll-ssl.google.com I have tried with both http and https. If I try to browse this URL I get a google 404 page, but if I try one of the other urls in the build e.g. https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/addon.xml I see the xml in the browser. I assume this xml page is no longer available, but it seems to throw a spanner in the works for me. I would be grateful to know if anyone else has had this problem and managed to get round it. Hi Jason, I've hit this problem a couple times as well. Eventually it works. I'm not sure why it doesn't work, and sometimes I have to exit Eclipse, come back in, and try to configure again. Here is the URL I use: https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/ Good luck! Let me know how it works. Mark

Thanks Mark, I have re-installed Android SDK and Eclipse twice now and still have the same problem. This must be because http://dll-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/addon.xml is not available? A problem at Googles end I assume and it is Saturday. Do they work weekends at Google? I will try again on Monday and keep you all posted. Jason
