Never thought of using Launch native app...been using URL page but that is a way better idea! Thanks! I love the link maker tool in Linkshare.com. I grab a few pennies through my affiliate links...not much but it adds up.

Hi ATRAIN53 thanks for the advice; I have previously used the 'Link Maker' tool but wasn't impressed with it because it would open a web page rather than the iTunes store, however I haven't tried launching the page with the 'Native App' feature, so I will give it a go. Again thanks for the advice. Kind Regards Dragon

Hi All just to let you know that ATRAIN53 was correct about adding iTunes links to a project. What you need to know is that it doesn't work in the simulator. Good luck for anyone else wanting to add iTunes links to a project using the 'Launch Native App' feature. Dragon

those Launch native APP URL Schemes in iOS only work if the APP you are referencing is installed on the device. so if you use URL Schemes in your APP - there's a good chance they won't work as expected on the simulator since the simulator really has no apps installed on it. i know you can install apps on the simulator and there are a lot of undocumented commands for the iOS simulator we could be using for better testing- but this is a big reason i opt for actual device testing over the simulator whenever possible. and according to Apple if the user doesn't have iTunes installed on their device it's supposed to direct them to a 'download iTunes'. (but what Apple devices doesn't come with iTunes pre-installed?)

Point taken, you've been a big help, I have spent weeks trying to get it to work in the simulator, wish I had added this post a long time ago. As they say "better late than never."

Here's how I set up a "Review This App" link for my v1.5 app, using the Launch Native App screen: itms-apps://ax.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewContentsUserReviews?type=Purple Software&id=458452418 Works like a charm for me! Mark
