Hey all, I have just received my blackberry playbook. What a neat little device. You can't beat free. Anyways just wanted to inform everyone that it took 20 days from the time my app was approved until my bb playbook arrived. Just in case you were worrying where your device was this is the average lead/ wait time.

Got my shipping notification today! So, hopefully it'll arrive soon. Took them longer than 72 hours to ship from when I provided by shipping info. @Parker : BlackBerry held a PlayBook Developer Challenge, where they had people submit apps to the BB App Portal for PlayBook. And they offered tools where you could take an Android app and convert it to a BB app, after removing unsupported functionality. If your app was accepted, and deemed "useful," you would earn a free BB PlayBook! A number of us took up the challenge, and have, or will have, nice new tablets to show for it. Sorry for the response. It was exactly as mark described. Sent in an already published app that met their parameters and got myself a playbook thanks to a post I read in the forum.

Got my Playbook last week. Great device. It is in dire need of android though. Blackberry app world is pitiful. Can't root it until dingleberry is updated. Great hardware specs. Kind of a neat os interface.

Got it last week. It's kinda slow, and smaller than the iPad. But, for something that I didn't pay for, it's sorta neat. I was able to load up some softball drill videos on it and bring it to practice the other day, and was able to show the girls some drills right then and there. It was a good tool to have! However, it's all kinda moot now that BlackBerry has announced they are stopping work on their consumer products, and focusing on business products. No new PlayBooks! Mark

Im having a tough time trying to find a place where i modify the code to run a video loop. I've seen threads talking about people having success with this same thing , only for music instead of video. Can this be done for IOS 1.5
