Warning in xCode: Multiple build commands...

I got this warning when I run my app in the simulator. Warning: Multiple build commands for output file /Users/freelanceguru/Library/... I´m a newbie so if there is someone who can give me some hints I would preciate it. I use: BT 2.1.6, xCode.

Hi @Svartpaakvitt, My recommendation is to restart Xcode (or even reboot your computer), do a Product...Clean on your app, and try to build again. Sounds like a couple processes from previous builds got hung or never terminated. Rebooting is the best way to kill everything. Mark

I answered a post on this exact question a few days ago, but I can't find it now... :P The error has to do with having a few files with the same name. Try Mark's suggestion and if that doesn't work then look for file duplicates in your project within xcode/eclipse and remove them. Probably a good idea to create a backup of your project before you go around deleting files though. Just in case.

Again, thnx a lot for your help, both of you. I think I found the problem. The folder in my xCode project, consists of one BT_Images/Icon, and in that folder I had a lot of Icons. But I also had 6 other icons in the BT_Art/Gui folder, which was similar. I removed the Icon folder in BT_Images and poof: All went OK. Thnx again. -Alf-

My experience is that this happens when a file is being used twice and sometime iOS doesn’t like this . For example if two menu with image files have the same header image, this error will appear. To get around it, I still use the same image twice but with a different name for each image.

I had this problem. It took me far too long to realize that it was human error -- i had simply forgotten to add the "BT Plugins" folder to the Xcode after downloading...
