Sending Messages

Is is possible to make an app that sends text messages without launching a native app with the free account? Also lets say that you were to change the name of an object in a settings screen, could you make the app then change the name of this object on another screen? Thanks, though I doubt that this is possible without self-hosting!

Hi @Unfortunate, If you know the code, you can make it happen on v1.5 or v2.0! You get full source code for your app, and you can tweak it any way you'd like. Natively, with the screens buzztouch provides, you can't do what you're asking. But, if you're willing to learn some code, I'm sure you can! Mark

Yes that is an option. I am still a novice at programming Java but I looked at the code and think that it might be possible. Is there a function that one could use to check if there is an internet connection present on the phone?

I mean that the app knows if it should use either email or text, itself. Regards, Unfortunate
