AIDE - Android IDE

Probably the coolest app ever. Create your Android apps right on you Android device. Eclipse ? Never heard of it, Who needs it, Why do I care. Without a doubt this will simply Android app development more than anything since Buzztouch. In combination with Buzztouch this is an extremely powerful tool. Works with Dropbox. Emulator blues are no more. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aide.ui Hopefully I'll have a tablet tomorrow since the Samsung phone screen is a bit small. Fred

That looks pretty cool. provided you can import Android projects, like the ones we get from buzztouch. Otherwise, in watching the video, it looks like you actually have to know something about Java coding, which I don't, and which buzztouch takes care of for us! Wish I had an Android device to test this on. :-( Mark

This app will simplify The Android Process. No longer need to: Install Java JDK Install Eclipse Install ADT Configure VD It would make all of the above optional. Fred

A feature request that would also solve a significant part of Forum help requests: If automatically an App Icon was created when the app is created in the Control Panel. If the create an icon tool is working or not, it would no longer be an issue. Simply replace icon.png in Source Code. Fred

Ok, perhaps a bit early to sell your PC. Google lib not supported yet, high on TODO List. Fred http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1555054
