No menu screens Buzztouch 2

I have set up a self hosted V2 on my mamp server and when i launch my app i get a blank screen even though i have set up for a simple menu to display. I can change the background color in the global theme so I know i have control of this much but thats about it. I did change the BT_Art files to the blank black files so that I would not see the "default.png" pop up on launch but as usual i am a bit perplexed. Suggestions? Cheers J.

Hi J, Are you running your app on a device or emulator? If emulator, is there anything in the debug area to suggest what might be going on? If you are not running in the emulator, perhaps you should try, so you can get debug info? If you are able to make some changes and have them reflected in your app, then it sounds like your Configuration URL is working correctly. Perhaps you should make sure your menu is configured with items and such? I'm sure it is, but you never know. You you using the simple menu plugin provided by buzztouch, or one from elsewhere? Mark

Same problem here with v2 apps hosted on BT server. No problem with v1.5

Read the readme.pdf file that comes in your download. You need to copy the plugin and other directories into your xcode project.

Right, Thanks! It's different from V1.5

I'm assuming that if I can see the menu plugin then I must have placed it in the correct spot. For the menu I added two more menus to it so that there was some thing to display. I am running an emulator and I am using a buzztouch menu plugin. Still perplexed. :)

It's actually the "instructions.pdf" file you need to review. This in particular should solve your problem: Drag Project Folders into Xcode 5 folders in the downloaded source code directory need to be added to the Xcode project. Expand the project's details in Xcode by clicking the arrow next to the project's name. Drag these 5 folders into Xcode 1) BT_Plugins 2) BT_Images 3) BT_Docs 4) BT_Video 5) BT_Sound

Did you following the instructions and make sure the "Create groups for any added folders" box was checked? The folders should all be yellow. You may need to do a clean and build.

I just spotted this post; I had this problem too. I found that once I had tried to run the project in Xcode (before moving the 5 folders), that effectively broke the project in Xcode. If you download (or unzip), load into Xcode as a new project, move the 5 folders across before running it, then it works OK.
