Anybody know a cheap service that will compile and submit apps for you?

I enjoy developing apps with BT but I am a bit of a technophobe when it comes to figuring out Xcode and Eclipse and and the signing etc that goes with it.. So it ends up taking me a lot longer than it should and I find myself getting very frustrated. I am looking for a service/ person that I can team up with that will; 1. download and compile my BT apps on IOS and Android 2. Install pushwoosh push messages on both 3. Submit to Apple store and google play under my developer accounts... Please email me if interested and let me know what you would charge for such a service.. Hoping it will not cost much as I don't think this should take long for someone that knows what they are doing.. But looking to work with someone on a very regular basis! :)

If you look on fiver.com there are people that post gigs to upload your app to google play etc; http://fiverr.com/moridin/publish-your-android-application-on-the-android-market-so-you-can-share-it-with-the-world Maybe they can also install add the pushwoosh code for you.. Or if not, I'm sure there is someone on this forum who can help.. I can just about do IOS, still learning Android.. Good luck!

Thanks Chacka! I found this online; https://www.digital-mayhem.com/support/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/1/1/iphoneandroid-app-submission-service Looks like they submit apps for both iPhone and Android if anyone on the forum is interested... Issue is, I can't seem to be able to contact them because I also need to have the pushwoosh installed in both before submission. I think I would prefer to work with someone who is familiar to BT anyway. Thanks in advance all for your help..

Question: Will you be adding content to the app (s) on a regular basis. Adding static (embedding) content requires that the app be resubmitted. For Eclipse you have to make a few changes to the source code and add content. I'm willing to help you with Android. (Actually very easy, follow the Android Process as outlined in MySkylla's Guide to Buzztouch.) www.myskylla.wordpress.com But if you need it 'done' I can help, just send an email. But unless the app will not need frequent updates, or is a relatively high earning app the price might seem steep no matter how low the price is. Estimated first time compile & publish: one-half day to two days depending on details. (yes, it'll only take as little as one hour for a very simple export, but not likely.) Plan on figuring out Pushwoosh today or tomorrow. For iOS you'll have the same problem regarding need too update. Fred

Thanks Fred, if it's going to be quite a steep cost maybe I will keep trying to figure it out myself for a bit... Once someone has figured everything out by submitting the first app, I assume the person would pick up speed or is this always going to be a very time consuming process? Once someone gets the hang of it, how long would it normally take to submit an app on each platform? Thanks

First app is very time consuming. Depends on ones background and how easily distracted you are. My first submission to Android Market went seamlessly but I thought I had messed it up. A week later went to finish up the process and found it had been published the week earlier. Second submit hopefully less than an hour (Android, perhaps someone will give iOS time.) Mind you if you have a day job and your time is better spent working than pulling hair it's probably cheaper to have someone prepare your app and prepare for app store submission. Each person will have to determine how much developing they do themselves. Don't assume you 'have' to do everything yourself, or not. Some have the time, some have the money, some both, and some neither. If you pay someone, be sure to get the modified Source Code or you'll never really own your app and will be beholden to them, and you'll end up paying for their boat behind the garage. Paying someone to walk you through the first submission is probably money well spent, again depending on time and funding. Fred

Hi @Kerry898, I would highly recommend you taking the time to figure it out yourself, for a couple reasons: * Having to depend on somebody else, paid or not, to compile and submit your apps may not be worth any amount of money you pay them. Plus, it puts you at their mercy with respect to urgency, and that's never a good thing. * While it take a bit of time to learn, the satisfaction of doing it yourself is amazing, and worth the effort! To help you along, here are a couple of tutorials: iOS : http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Submitting_Your_App_To_iTunes_Connect_v1.0.pdf Android : http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Compiling_Your_Android_Application_v1.0.pdf I'm totally willing to mentor you in this process...just let me know! Mark

By the way...doing Android compiles is SUPER easy, so if you want an early success, start with that one. It's literally a couple minute process, and you don't have any of that crazy hoop jumping you have to do for Apple. Mark

Regarding android, imo reading about how to do it is daunting and off-putting with unfamiliar terminology. Actually digging in and doing it is much easier. After a few submissions, you won't even need to think while you're doing it!
