Hi everybody. I have been attempting to create my app on the app store and google play and have downloaded eclipse for my mac. The problem I am having is that the document for readying Windows not Mac. Does anyone have a guide for preparing a mac for downloading the source code? I have attempted to figure it out myself but it has been massively confusing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Please check on How To's my good friend Go North West great documents on how to set up and work on apps great mac guidance for eclipse. Its not as straightforward as Xcode but eclipse is versatile.

I just went through this last week and feel your pain. Most of the docs on here are done on a PC. If you go to the "how to's" section of this site and look at the android documentation, scroll to the very bottom and you'll see a link for some videos on youtube. Here it is just to be safe: http://www.youtube.com/user/thenewboston#p/u/201/H9KRSGGjSYs these are awesome. look at the first one and he will show you what to download and everything. makes life MUCH simpler.

Fred could be the next apple president and do a video extolling the virtue of iOS 5 and ipad3. The android darkside just gets uglier each month - used a Samsung smartphone - gorgeous screen - the interface is damn ugly. Agreed apple is smug, sanctimonious and vain but google Ben & Jerries ios is uglier than a polar bear is to Sarah Palin. PS Sarah - to the bear you are only attractive as a main course
