Eclipse what do I do?

I have downloaded eclipse but still won't let me download the app in an android format. I have been told that i must select an android project option in eclipse when i open it but this is not an option. Any help would be great thanks.

hi quick question: my app's heading when I run it on my simulator says "My Home Screen Menu"...how can I change this default title heading to the name of the app itself? Thanks

Hi @Chuki, In your control panel, under Advanced Properties for that screen, there is a section called "Navigation Bar / Status Bar," which has a field called "Nav. Bar Title." What you put there shows up in the app. Mark

Hi Mark, I have read your rules over and over again. I am so lost. I have everything installed that I know should be installed. Everything is updated. But I cannot find the "File" "New" "Android App" It's like ADT plugin is not installed. Is there a way to make sure it is not installed. Is there any next step to take to see why this is all not working? I click on tools on the SDK Mgr and see only "Mannage Add on Sites" Nothing else. By looking at your tutorial, it looks like that is the first thing that is wrong with my install. I am so excited to be able to get started and this is very frustrating. I hope this forum will be able to offer me some help. Once I become a pro at this I will want to offer help to others just starting. But right now, that seems like a long way away : ) Now to go to the store to buy some cookies to get rid of my stress. Thanks, Brian

Hi Brian, Mmmmm....cookies! What kind did you get? ;-) Sounds like some of the pieces of the puzzle are not quite in place yet. Did you do the install from scratch while following the document? Or, did you go back and just try to verify that it was good? A fresh install, from scratch, might do the trick. Ping me at the email I gave you, and we'll get this worked out. Mark

I got some fake girl scout cookies at Dollar General (peanut butter and fudge). Yes, I followed directions exactly or so I thought from scratch. Wanted to finally do something by the letter for once in my life. Will need to find that email you sent me. I'll find my pm folder somewhere, I'm guessing you sent it that way. Will email you soon. Thanks, Brian
