Hi, Anybody have suggestions or ideas on how I might approach mapping a route on a map. I've already got a working solution which plots points on a map (store locations), using a server side mysql/php script, but now I'm looking to see if I can plot a route between points. Any tips much appreciated. I'm suspecting this might require changes to the BT_screen_map plugin. Vince.

I know that if you use the map screen buzztouch has available, you can set a location that automatically opens the local map app (typically the google maps app that comes on the iPhone and Android) when you click on it. When the app opens it will automatically plot the best route to take. Through the native app you can change the route you want to take through options like "avoid highways", "avoid heavy traffic", and "avoid tolls". Hope this helped. I don't know the details of the function of your app, but you might have to modify the code.

Thanks for your response and suggestions. I'll take a look at these options but I was hoping to perform all this within my app, without launching a native app but I'm thinking this is not possible.
